Youtube Support Videos / [NofW] Interjection - Treaty Guide - What Should Be In The Description
« on: August 31, 2012, 09:47:51 PM »~>>GAME START<<~ Do this quickly - Assume constant villager production the entire game.
*ALL TO FOOD
*Get crates
*Build market and get hunting dogs
*Spare wood = manors
*ALL TO FOOD
~>>AGE 1<<~
*If something like 70 wood left over from building, collect just enough for one more manor
*ALL TO FOOD
*All TO FUCKING FOOD.
-Card 1 - if TRADE ROUTE = 3 vils
*ASAP GO TO Age to 2 (with 500 food) opposed to 2 vils
~>>AGE 2 IN QUE<<~ (Leave 2 settlers on food the entire time)
-Card 2 = Exotic Hardwoods (20% to upgrade) opposed to economic theory
*Stockpile 100 food then research 10% wood at market
*Swap ALL settler to wood. But leave a few to stockpile 250 coin before you hit age2 so you can research the Age2 wood upgrade immediately as you age up.
*I'll say it again - SWAP settlers to wood
*BUILD MANNORS. If you have more than 135 wood stockpiled then you're not building them quick enough.
*At around 15 manors built - start to transition settlers back to food and coin. Make sure you get ALL the market upgrades before swapping the majority of your settlers back to food and coin.
*Once 20 manors aim to get 1200 food and 1000 coin at the same time then age to Age3
~>>AGE 3 IN QUE<<~
*Aim to collect 2000 food and 1200 coin for the exact same moment so you can age up to 4 the moment you hit Age3, you should be able to get these in age 2 before you even get to age 3
*Make sure you have all the market upgrades, but you should have done this a while ago
~>>AGE 3<<~
-You should have the resources, put Age4 in queue the MOMENT you hit age 3
-Card 3 = Refrigeration``
-Card 4 = Royal Mint
~>>AGE 4 IN QUE<<~ (1000 coin)
-You're now going to prepare your eco to max settlers via the estate card
*Swap settlers mostly to food, but leave enough on coin.
*Put all 20 manors into a ctrl group for quick access
~>>AGE 4<<~
-Card 5 = Estates -when this arrives find the ctrl group and queue a settler in every manor, keep doing this each time you have 2000 food until you've maxed settlers
-Card 6 = Factory (use the 1000 coin you aged up with to get the 1500xp from the church)
-Card 7 = Factory
-Card 8+ = This now really depends on available xp throughout the game but you now only need to get the mill and plantation homecity upgrade. Although, do make sure you get the train fasters before the treaty ends and military upgrades are NOT ESSENTIAL - get them
after the eco upgrades. <-- Once the fighting begins you'll have more than enough xp coming in to get military upgrades.
*Collect 4000 food and 4000 coin for the exact same moment then go to age 5. Still should not be building mills/plantations yet as this slows you down - there should still be enough natural resources on the map. Your eco will be sooo much stronger if you race as fast as you can for the capitol upgrades
~>>AGE 5 IN QUE<<~
*Stockpile enough food and coin to get the capitol wood upgrade (1000 of each)
*Swap every settler to wood and start to build mills/plantations in the ratio you need. You might want to build one of each early on to get the upgrades researched before you start full scale collecting from them.
*I personally build the mills/plantations but don't collect from them until most of them are fully built
~>>AGE 5<<~
*sort it out. Just set up your eco on mills/plantations. Get all the capitol upgrades. Deforestation is the first one.
*Now you're on your own: You'll need walls, upgrades, military.

. Explains why you didn't speak earlier though. Hopefully you're not being silly though and are remembering to press the talk to speak button
